| Head held up high, Lucius strutted down the hallway while a pink suit case of average sized trailed behind him. Of course, many would be quite surprised to see Lucius carry one suit case after all, the boy loved his fashion and owned enough clothes for thirteen adults to wear for at least two years.
Sadly, Lucius had to compromise with some of his stuff, but still managed to bring a lot of his wardrobe and other things he thought that were necessary such as nail polish. To some males, this was odd, but being gender-fluid Lucius saw himself in a different light as some days he felt more like a female while other days he was a some what normal guy.
As he continued his little strut down the hallway, a few of the males had to do a double take after all, the male was sporting the girls uniform. Pushing aside a few blond strands, Lucius read out the dorm numbers trying to find his room, but had to stop as his bangs quickly fell back into place. It wasn't long before the male finally reached his dorm's door and he gave off a bone chilling smile as he quickly shoved the door open. Taking a quick glance around the room, it was quite obvious that he was sharing with someone else which slightly left the male upset. He wasn't a fan of sharing after all, what was his well was his and he shouldn't have to share it with anyone else.
'Maybe father can fix this.' Lucius thought to himself as he entered the room, closing the door behind him. Taking the bed that seemed to be available, Lucius settled his suit case on top as he tried to get himself settled into the dorm that could be considered a "shed" by its size.
Unpacking took a little bit as each piece of clothing was treated like it was the Holy Grail. Once the clothes were put away, and nail polish shoved into a drawer, Lucius settled onto his bed with a fashion magazine figuring the rest of his evening could be spent catching up on next seasons hot clothing pieces after all, Lucius would never be caught dead with last seasons clothing line!
Flipping through the pages, Lucius didn't care that his bangs blocked most of his vision after all, he liked it the way it was even though most called him a girl... Of course, it could have also been due to the fact he wore girl clothes, but that was a different story.

Sean moseyed into the dorm building with a bland expression. He had a black, fluffy towel wrapped around his shoulders, but he didn't bother using it. His jammers dried quickly and he liked the feel of the water lingering, along with the chlorine smell that came with it. His hair was luckily dripping onto the towel, but since the Gymnasium was so close to the dorms he was still very wet, leaving a trail of water on the cool tiles in his wake.
He'd been swimming for hours, so long that his fingers and toes were wrinkled and his skin pinked from the sun despite his sunscreen regime. He knew he shouldn't be in a pool for so long, especially since he'd skipped lunch to do so. He didn't like it when he was hungry, but he couldn't find it in himself to leave the pool for food. It just wasn't as important as the feel of the cool water against his skin and the slight burn in his muscles as he pulled his weight through it time and time again.
As he stopped at his dorm room door he was lost in thought, so he opened it without knocking and pulled the towel out from around his shoulders, hair beginning to drip on the carpet instead of the towel. He dropped it in the floor at the foot of his bed carelessly, readying to go have a shower to clean up... Then he stopped in the middle of the room, half way to the small, connected bathroom. He stared at the person- boy?- sitting on the bed he'd left empty, not sure what to say. He had been told he'd be getting a roomate today, but they had told him it would be around dinner time. It was decidedly earlier than dinner in the cafe on campus, though he supposed it was late enough that some people might be eating.
Decided, he frowned and spoke softly and in a very bland tone. "I'm Sean. Your roommate, I suppose." He pauses, then decides that he doesn't care what this person thought of him, and asked, "I thought that the dorms weren't inter-sex? How are we roomed together?" He didn't mean for it to come out as demanding as it had, but really it was more curious than anything. Sorry it took so long! >u< template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

| Pulling himself up, Lucius spotted an interesting article and hunched himself over slightly in order to read it better. As his mouth moved to form each word as if he was reading out loud, it wasn't a big surprise when the door was opened that Lucius didn't dare move a single muscle. Engrossed with his article, he continued on reading as if he was still the only person in the room, despite the shuffle of feet.
"I'm Sean. Your roommate, I suppose."
Yet, when his roommate spoke up, he didn't perk up his head, but attempted to ignore him in favor of the article that he was so close to finishing. In all honesty, he would have called the other rude, but he feared that he would lose his place in his article. Sadly, ignoring the other didn't come easy... Especially with the statement that followed next.
"I thought that the dorms weren't inter-sex? How are we roomed together?"
Rolling his eyes, he dropped the article down as his head snapped over to the other. Luckily with his bangs in the way he doubted the other saw his silver eyes roll at his ignorant comment. Allowing a smirk to grow on his face, he was slightly surprised to see someone who was short like him, but the silver haired male seemed to have a couple inches on him. In all honesty, he really didn't know if he was supposed to be offended or happy... After all, he was feeling a bit on the feminine side today and was having his mother use her/she pronouns along with calling him Luci.
"Oh don't worry, they thought about it for a little while and was like 'We have nothing to worry about. His face is one that only a mother could love... Maybe.' Boy, they were right though." Lucius spoke with a slight amused tone before his gaze went back to the magazine he dropped in favor of taunting the other.
Allowing that information to soak in, he grabbed the magazine and settled it onto his lap as his gaze traveled back over to the male awaiting to see how he would react.

Sean frowned as the other didn't respond, wondering if perhaps they were deaf. However, that was blown out of the water as the other person in the room dropped the article and seemed to snap to attention. It was almost startling, they looked at him so quickly. He honestly had to wonder if they could see him through the bangs covering their eyes, but he didn't really care if they wanted to trip over things. It wouldn't hurt him any when they busted their head open on a desk corner or rock.
He blinked once, then only sign of his surprise at the smirk. He wondered if it really was a girl, but now that he thought it through he highly doubted they'd room him with a girl. Especially since the room was one big bedroom and not two separate ones. They would have no privacy.
As the other spoke Sean listened carefully, staying quiet for a few moments after. Finally he sighed, grabbing a white dorm towel from the corner shelf and holding it away from his wet body. "I never said you were unattractive, and i'll just have to assume you are a female by that response." He said blandly, though not actually serious about assuming it was a female. "Good to meet you, miss. If you'll excuse me, i've got to piss and take a shower." He opened the bathroom door, walking inside and leaving it open as he turned the bathtub taps on to full blast. The water came out as barely warm, but Sean didn't care. Post kill... @~@ Sorry. template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

| "I never said you were unattractive, and i'll just have to assume you are a female by that response."
Fiddling with the magazine tip, it was soon discarded once again as Lucius was in no mood to finish the article that once held his interest. Instead, his focus and of course, rage seemed to be target on his roommate who didn't seem to understand his insult or he did and simply made the tables turn.
Whipping his head around again, his eyes narrowed at the response because he wasn't expecting for his little insult to be thrown back at him. No, he would have rather it played out differently, but it seemed fate wasn't going to work in his favor this evening.
"Good to meet you, miss. If you'll excuse me, I've got to piss and take a shower."
As his roommate turned heading into the bathroom, Lucius leaned back before pushing himself forward so he could land on his feet which made a soft thud echo through the room as he walked over to the bathroom and halted by the dorm not wanting to go in any further.
"If you must know asshole, even though I doubt you even know what it is... I'm gender-fluid." Lucius snorted out after all, he figured that it would be much easier to explain what this meant to a toddler, then this uncultured swine. Having the last word in this conversation, a smirk reappeared on his face as he twirled around and headed back to his bed quite satisfied with himself.
"A rock would probably be a better roommate at this point." Lucius more or less muttered to himself as he picked up the magazine that laid abandon on his bed. Scanning the room he tried to recall where he placed his other magazines before a lightbulb went off in his head. Reaching over to his night stand, he gently shoved the magazine under the nail polish figuring it could stay there until he finished it off.

Sean figured, by the look on the other person's face as they looked at him, that the insults weren't supposed to have been turned around on the other. Honestly, he thought to himself, if they thought they'd come here and meet no one with an intelligence to rival theirs, then they were mistaken. He didn't think many people would be here if they didn't have good enough grades, especially considering how many people were here on financial assistance. He was the same. He paid as much as he could, but the only reason he was there was because his grades were good enough for him to be there.
He heard the soft thud of his new roommate's feet hitting the floor, sighing heavily, but quietly. He really didn't think that this was a fight that could be dragged out much more, and he didn't really care to. He wanted to soak in the bath for a few hours and then go to bed. In peace. He suddenly missed having the room all to himself, though he supposed he could have a worse roommate. At least this one wasn't annoying or stupid, they seemed to have a pretty sharp wit.
Gender Fluid... He pondered internally. He didn't really care as long as he was left alone, but he supposed learning new things was always nice. "... Gender-fluid. I don't know what it is, but if you'd like to explain it to me sometime i wouldn't mind listening." It was a rare soft moment for him, since he didn't want to make his roommate feel like he was trying to put him out. He'd rather someone try to understand that he wasn't an ass because he was ignorant, but simply because he didn't care.
"Honestly..." He murmured to himself softly, closing his eyes as the other walked away. He'd never really shared a space with anyone like this, and he was a bit afraid this would end disastrously. That in mind, he stepped under the luke-warm spray of water and closed his eyes, humming in approval as the water beat against his back and the top of his head. His swim-suit was immediately soaked again, and he wondered if he should wait until the other was asleep to leave the bathroom again. Finally~ >u<; template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

| "... Gender-fluid. I don't know what it is, but if you'd like to explain it to me sometime i wouldn't mind listening."
Pausing, Lucius attempted to comprehend the situation... This wasn't how things worked out after all, he would tell someone about him being gender fluid and they would either mock him without caring what that meant or knew what it meant, but continued on with the mocking. There was never a third option, but this male seemed to drive off the two paths without a single care given. In all honesty, he didn't know how to react... Did he come up with a new thing to insult? Or does he assume he won because the other didn't throw out a sweet come back or sassy remark? His mind swirled with thoughts as he stood near his night stand in complete wonder of what his actions should be next...
Puffing out his checks, he didn't know whether to be angry or accept what just happened although he really didn't want too... Crossing his arms, he marched back over to his bed not wanting to barge back into the bathroom after all, it felt kind of weird the first time. Flopping himself onto the bed, he lays on his back as he stared up at the ceiling as he had nothing better to do. He didn't want to finish the article, nor did he want to leave the dorm. Really, he just wanted to ask 'why'... For once in his life, he decided to wait patiently for the other to come out of the bathroom... His anger slowly crawling back into the corner it had once been as confusion clouded over his head like a thick mist.

Sean practically felt the air still as the other boy paused, and he expected him to lash out in some way. He supposed with such a sudden, unexpected change in his tune, it would be a bit of a shocker. But really, he'd felt like an outcast enough that he felt like he shouldn't alienate someone who didn't do anything to deserve feeling that way. He supposed that, as they seemed to more of less stomp to their bed, he'd find out later. Or maybe they would ignore him and he'd have nothing to worry about. With a soft sigh at the silence he prepared to get in the shower, deciding he'd just take a shower and get out. He was tired and wanted to rest a bit before getting to his homework.
About thirty minutes later found Sean dressed in black pajamas and mostly dry, though his hair was damp. He came out of the bathroom and padded past the other's bed towards his own, not really looking at them. He figured they'd be asleep or reading again, and he wasn't going to bring up their earlier conversation himself. He wasn't pushy, and he honestly didn't care enough to ask again, since he'd already opened himself up to the conversation.
He tumbled onto his bed, grabbing a small art notebook and a pencil. He flipped to an empty page, sketching out a kitten playing with a ball of yarn very roughly and debating on how much longer he should put the homework off. Boop~ c: template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

| Time slipped through Lucius's fingers as he blankly stared at the ceiling for half an hour, but to him it only seemed like a couple of minutes. It wasn't until his dorm mate emerged from the bathroom that he pulled out his Iphone and checked on the time to see that thirty minutes had passed. Thirty minutes of staring at a ceiling and trying to comprehend what just happened half an hour ago. People weren't nice to him, not even slightly nice to him after all, most people either hated him or tried to avoid him. Of course, he highly doubted his roommate liked him, but his tone was just... Gazing back at the phone, he tapped away at the lock menu screen before it allowed him access to the phone. Flipping through the panels of apps, he opened sketchbook and started to doodle designs unsure of how to even talk to his roommate now who seemed to be occupied with something.
Curiosity got the best of him, and he carefully peered over to see his roommate with a small sketchbook. Returning to his phone, he mindlessly added a few details to the outfit he designing before speaking up. "You draw?" The tone was almost astonished, almost in a mocking way that the other couldn't believe the other doodles in his spare time.

Sean's pencil movements paused at the mockingly surprised tone. It annoyed him that he couldn't draw without an interuption, though he supposed he'd have to get used to it in a dorm. Though, obviously, he still wasn't exactly sure what to think, and he'd wait to judge until he'd been told about what the other had mentioned. His pencil resumed to sketch out a small, wide eye, then a trail of yarn on the 'floor' in the picture. He ripped the little doodle of the white kitten out of the small notebook, then tossing it haphazardly towards the other bed. Luckily it was close enough that the thicker paper fluttered just to the edge of the mattress and settled there, balanced on edge with the art work face down.
"Yes." He muttered, seemingly unshaken by the near-sarcasm. He started on another sketch, doing a very light outline of an eye with some bangs and an arched eyebrow. "Art major here, painting and other 'traditional' methods." He reached into his bag for some charcoal, planning to make the eyes lashes and iris pop with it. "Nosy. Do you always stare at people when you think they aren't looking?" He didn't actually know one way or the other, but the other was easy to rile up. He didn't want to be the only one annoyed.
