Hugo doesn't have many friends. He's shifty, and he doesn't like or trust very many people. He's defensive of himself, perhaps a little too much. It's not easy for him to let others in. But he's incredibly loyal to his friends. He was raised to believe that strength was within the family and within those who are loyal to each other. Traitors are not easily forgiven. Once he has you as a friend, it'll be difficult for him not to be concerned for you. He gets to be like a mother hen.

Traitors are the only people that he cannot stand. He takes his trust very seriously. Once someone has stabbed him the back he'll never forget it. He hold grudges for way too long, and they can last forever. No amount of begging for forgiveness will make him reconsider. His pride will be wounded by anyone who betrays him. He also, quite blatantly, doesn't like assholes. The cocky type, or the types that gang up on other, weaker people.
lovers
He has never been in an intimate relationship. But he's definitely the type to devote an immense amount of time to his partner. He's the clingy type and he'll want to spend a crap ton of time with any partner that he might have.
