Personality & Appearance
Personality: Sylvester comes off as a calm individual with a stoic face. He doesn't show much emotion if he can help it, and he puts off that "cool rich man" air. He keeps people at a distance and tries not to get too close. Of course, this is all just an act to keep people from prying into his life and so he doesn't draw the attention of his family through "improper behavior." If any decides to spy on him in his room, they'll find that their apathetic teacher is really just a big dork who strips down into his underwear and plays video games with junk food around him. It's that part of him that never grew up, and it helps him cope with the world whenever the pressure becomes too much. He does manage to find time to grade papers, and he has a tendency to stay after school hours just so he can get all of that done before heading home.
Appearance: Sylvester stands at five feet and eleven inches, making him the shortest out of his brothers. His body is lean, and he only manages to keep it that way by managing to schedule in exercise every for a short period of time. As for watching what he eats... Well, that doesn't happen. His skin is on the paler side due to his more or less distaste for going outside unless absolutely necessary. He burns easily, and he will cover up no matter the weather. Layers can be shed upon entering the safety of a building. Sylvester's eyes a dark in color, appearing inky black without proper lighting. The same goes for his hair which is usually kept in a semi-disheveled appearance. He only ever bothers with taming his hair whenever he has a more formal occasion to attend.

A little bit extra
Likes:
- Games -- this is kind of a given after everything else. he uses it to cope, to escape from the world, etc. the same goes for anime, manga, and any other fandom he manages to find himself in.
- Sweets -- despite not wanting to have anything to do with his family and the company, he does have a fondness of sweets. growing up in a family that manufactures sweets of all kinds, he can tell the difference between just about anything. though, his palette was made for sweets. most other foods tend to taste bland to him, allowing him to stuff whatever in his mouth and be fine with is.
- Carrots -- one of the few non-sweet foods he finds himself able to enjoy, it isn't uncommon to see him pulling out a bag of baby carrots and nibbling on them like a rabbit in between classes.
- Math -- surprise, surprise. he has also managed to dabble in programming since it is math intensive.
- Cosplay -- it's his dirty little secret, but he has a separate closet specifically for his costumes, wigs, makeup, and contacts. he doesn't find much time to actually wear them anymore or go to conventions, but at least he can put on a show during halloween.
- Squash & Mushrooms -- just. no.
- His family -- for obvious reasons. really, he just doesn't want to be confined to whatever they want of him. he would rather do his own thing. despite saying that, he still uses his family's money in tight situations.
- Crowds -- how he ever managed to go to conventions or deal with assemblies is beyond him. he is more introverted than extroverted, so crowds tend to drain him very, very quickly.
- Intense heat -- remember the thing about covering up no matter the weather? he sometimes causes himself to pass out due to the heat whenever he walks outside with layers on. he could avoid this by wearing sunblock, but that would be too easy.
- Tests -- what? he has to grade them. if he had his way, everyone would take tests online so the computer could grade them. but, no, the school won't let him.
- Insecure -- well, you could call it that. after all, he has developed a mask that he shows the world yet conceals who he really is. you could also call him unconfident, or you could say he just doesn't trust anyone, thinking that they might be in cahoots with his father.
- Childish -- he has a tendency to whine, especially in the presence of people he has managed to grow comfortable around.
- Introverted -- while it isn't truly a flaw, he uses up too much energy when in the presence of more than just those he can tolerate. he will usually collapse in his chair after dismissing classes, and any chances of solitude are like a breath of fresh air for him.
- Reclusive -- well, if you try to get him to go clubbing or something with you, chances are he will decline. you have to drag him out against his will or manage to get close enough to him that he would be willing to put aside his "me time" back home just to spend time with you.
History
Once upon a time, there was a dashing businessman, the head of a sweets company that had been passed down for generations. The finest patissiers and candy makers from around the globe worked underneath them, making the finest sweets that they could offer in all price ranges, from the cakes served at restaurants to the candy sold in convenience stores. Despite the young man sitting in a place of power and wealth, there was still one person higher than him: his father. The old man was determined to keep his son on the right path as well as benefit the company. A marriage was arranged between the businessman and a the heiress of a company based in South Korea that dealt with cocoa. They two only had sweets in common, yet they obliged with their parents' wishes.
Fast forward about a decade or so and there were already three potential heirs and two daughters in the family. Then came along their final child, another boy. A fourth heir was born. Since then, it became a competition for the approval of their father. Tutoring sessions reigned throughout the day during their childhood. The youngest few would play around until their father entered the room and then pretend like they had been studying all along. The siblings would strive to be better than each other, though the youngest would often forget that it was to impress father and, instead, turn it into a game. It allowed him to pay more attention to his studies, and he stopped playing around nearly as much as he grew a little older.
He was ten when the heir to the company was announced. The eldest brother was to take over the company, and the second eldest was to take over a chain of restaurants they had. The rest? They could do as they pleased as long as they did not disgrace their family. With all the free time he received in turn, he began to become interested in gaming. He even went as far as to request going to an actual school nearby so that he could... Well, really, he wanted to get away from his stuffy house and have more of an opportunity to visit arcades and the like, places that his parents would throw a fit if they knew he associated with it. They threw a fit just because he wanted to go to an actual school, as if their tutors weren't enough.
It wasn't until he was twelve that he was actually allowed to attend an actual school, but, instead of going to a local school, he was sent off to a boarding school. It took a lot of bribing and smuggling for him to build upon his gaming addiction, and he quickly found himself interested in various things: manga, cosplay, live action roleplay, etc. He was only able to somewhat disguise his interests by joining clubs that somewhat catered to his interests whenever he could. Aside from that, school was dull for him. He had to create a front so that no one looked down upon him. Instead, they began looking up at him or looking at him from afar, as if he was a distant being that no one could get close to. They just never knew that the person they admired retreated into his dorm each night, stripped down into his pajamas, and stayed up most of the night playing video games or watching anime.
When he graduated from the academy, he went against his parents once more. He went to a college of his choice, studying to become a mathematician. It wasn't like his parents could do much about it. He wasn't going to take over any portion of the family company, as far as any of them knew at the time, so he could do whatever he wanted. Halfway through his bachelor's, his mother grew ill. Her condition rapidly decreased, and she was admitted to the hospital. Within the month, she had passed away. The first time he had seen his family in years was at her funeral.
He busied himself with his studies after that. He didn't answer his father's calls. He didn't answer his siblings' texts. He obtained his bachelors and took the chance towards obtaining a teaching license. It was a breeze with the persona he had created to hide behind. He began getting more calls from his father once word reached him that his youngest was becoming a teacher. Once more, he ignored the calls. He went as far as to block his father's number, as well as the company's. Yet, he kept his siblings' numbers as a "just in case."
Sylvester was hired at Amesti Springs Boys' Academy as a mathematics teacher. Fresh from school, he was cheaper than most candidates since the less teaching experience they actually have, the cheaper the school can be. He has currently been teaching at the academy for about a year.
