Personality & Appearance
Personality: Célestine is a most articulate and educated person. Her words are fluid and have a certain kind of grace which is often not present in the speech of others. But along with this intelligent way of communicating, and her penchant for persuasive speech, Célestine has passion over everything else. Anything which she does is filled with a certain feeling of power and emphatic force, as though it were the most important thing in the world at the moment. This feeling is not meant to trick people; but at the same time, combined with a certain true sincerity in her words, the girl is often easily trusted. She both reads and writes exceptionally well and causes that feeling of truly goodheartedness to flow through the phrases which she composes. Many people believe that indeed, she could possibly be the only truly good person on the face of the planet.
But Célestine is anything but genuine. To nearly everyone she is a perfect, strong leader (although occasionally a bit too forceful, but it’s “just her passion”), but some continuously reject being swayed by her beautiful exterior, and in such a case Célestine will become an absolute demon. She is not prone to violence, necessarily, but the great descriptive way which she paints pictures with her words is put to use once again, in a much more disturbing way. Describing the person’s death with such realistic detail, as well as emphasizing that all of their loved ones will perish painfully; these are among what Célestine will turn to after the charms of her outward personality are ignored. And of course, although it may not be her first nature... there is the possibility of violence. Célestine is not necessarily of great, menacing stature, but the deliberateness behind every one of her actions is unnerving in its own right. She is perfectly aware of how to use weapons of multiple kinds, and despite her often reserved personality, passion is prominent in the end. Célestine is likely to choose ones which inflict a great amount of pain-- and one can be certain that the final product will not be easy to clean up, to put it bluntly.
Célestine is not a creature who lacks bite and can only bark, despite the fact that she is manipulative and clearly opinionated; she does not withhold her passion in an attempt to bring someone to her side. Typically Célestine will trust that her genuineness will bring them over in due time. Resorting to unsavory methods such as threatening either the target or their relations is not something Célestine will do to convince a person to take her side-- although plenty of such might occur after she has gone into a cold and deadly rage, prepared to butcher and kill them. In that case, plenty of description of the torture will be provided along with the threats, since Célestine would hate for her correspondent to be misinformed about or not completely provided with the exact details. As a general note, Célestine is completely aware that she is manipulating people with her fake goodness. And what perhaps makes it more realistic is the fact that there is also passion in the way she calls for justice; in fact, occasionally the girl may deliberately break a rule or two, just to stress the point that she is not simply faking her desire for ____________.
Appearance: Célestine is... well, she is actually not particularly beautiful. (Don’t start yelling at me, I know Erza Scarlet is lovely, but just bear with me xD.) This some how actually works in her favour as far as manipulating people goes; for those who are intelligent do now allow themselves to be swayed by things such as beauty. Additionally, it adds to a sense of down to earthiness to Célestine... as though her pure heart is more important than her plain appearance. Célestine typically will wear a white sleeveless blouse with ruffles over her chest; the collar reaches high on her neck. A rather medium blue bow is tied at her throat, and the top is accompanied by a knee-length, pleated skirt of the same blue. She does however wear armor occasionally of multiple kinds, which reinforces the image of herself which she sends out to the world; a good person-- a knight.
As far as physical appearance goes, Célestine is most definitely in great athletic shape. Her sports activities, which she is very involved in, have seen to this; as well as her criminal activities. Célestine has long, ruby to fire red hair, which can be seen worn in all different styles when paired with certain armors or formal outfits; nonetheless, it is typically left down. Once again, reinforcing the simple look. Célestine has fair skin and is not vain whatsoever about it, and she does not mind freckles or a tan... or whatever.

★ Flighty ~ Célestine is a masterful liar, but often it’s best to simply flee the scene rather than stay behind and clean it up. She has no qualms about abandoning her “friends,” although perhaps they weren’t true ones. Only time will tell if perhaps some day... she can form lasting bonds with others.
★ Aggressive ~ Although at first Célestine may come off as reserved and an intelligent, sophisticated young lady, she is undoubtedly very combative. Taught at a young age how to defend herself with both modern and ancient weapons, Célestine is skilled in fighting. Unfortunately, this has only served to heighten her instinct to fight whenever confronted; thankfully her exterior personality has a strong will as well, but it can occasionally be difficult for Célestine to restrain the urge to lash out with murderous words.

History
who you are is not where you’ve been
To put it quite simply, Célestine does not have the best reputation among law enforcement in France and other countries. There are records of her committing crimes such as arson, assault, theft... murder. Some are false through and through, but others are comprised of nothing but the truth; in fact, it’s quite difficult-- one might say even nearly impossible-- to pick out which stories are only stories, and which are events that occurred in the past. And unfortunately, most people whom Célestine meet, who are already aware of her track record, are not willing to take the risk that the more serious stories are actually false. And in fact... well, those stories likely hold the most truth of all of them.
The above paragraph is a description of when she was young, for it has already been stated numerous times that Célestine has a way of charming people to believe that she could possibly be the one good person in this often corrupted world. Célestine was forced to make herself respectable by her parents, who were quite famous by this time; apparently they invented a couple things, most likely stole a few other ideas from other people, and patented the whole lot of it before manufacturing and selling the products for a large sum of money in profit. The entire business was a bit shady (its procedures) to be honest... but it was a very rewarding one. Anyways, Célestine was forced to come clean with everything that she’d done; not an easy task, no... and so instead, the girl chose to run away.
A most idiotic decision on her part, some would say, but Célestine found life much more enjoyable when her family was not around to tell her that she should be a beautiful princess with a delicate disposition but a strong sense of justice. Intelligent, but not overly so or some might feel lost as they spoke to her... and that was never good for business. It was from their expectation of her that Célestine took the base of her new personality which she was making for herself. She wanted to be a good girl, there was still that longing within her to be seen as a genuine and sincere person... but a few other traits, Célestine decided, she had no use for. After forming her persona, Célestine traversed the world for a long while, manipulating people and managing to amass a great amount of connections and power... as well as money, which she had no taste for but which came in useful-- bribes and such.
And then somehow a young woman managed to track Célestine down. She had been sent by the Duvont family, who wanted their rebellious daughter back home. Of course, Célestine had no intention to go back with the young woman-- her name was Léa, the fire haired girl found out, but there was just something about the way she spoke, and the way she pleaded with Célestine to return. This nagging feeling chewed away at Célestine from the inside until finally one day, she realized that Léa had a personality, it seemed, nearly exactly like the exterior which she had chosen for herself. This realization immediately had Célestine at the conclusion that accompanying the young woman back home would be an interesting journey... and she wanted to know-- no, needed to know-- whether she too was just a fake.
And so Célestine went back home with the young woman, and even after much prodding and pretending to be cold and unwilling to be friends or manipulated, Léa’s beautiful personality did not budge. And Célestine somehow, unexplainably, fell in love with the young woman. She was so sincere in every word, every movement; and there was such passion behind each as well. It was what Célestine had been trying to act into her own actions and words, but looking at Léa, it was plain she had failed. But just as Léa might have been starting to return the red haired woman’s affections... they reached home. And Léa departed with Célestine; the wealthy young woman hadn’t managed to confess her feelings to Léa, and the brunette left swiftly enough, never to be seen again. Trying to hold the tears back, Célestine met with her family in their parlor and was greeted with a thick envelope, thrown into her face. The family had caught wind of a certain school where perhaps her habit of delinquency might be solved; and so the girl was sent to Amesti Springs Girls’ Academy. Afterwards the family broke ties with the young woman, granting her money when it was necessary but refusing to communicate with any emotion. This ostracizing would last until “she reformed herself,” which was unlikely to ever occur, in Célestine’s mind.
