Personality & Appearance
Personality: Emelie is a sweetheart in all honesty, trying her best to keep people happy while also getting her work done. She hates to be mean, but she also puts pride in how much effort she puts into her studies, and because of this she often avoids getting close to people too often, in fear of them distracting her. She's also quite bad at taking compliments, and isn't one to enjoy receiving help- in fact, constant offers of help might get her frustrated. That noted, her temper is set off by injustice and cruelty, and she isn't afraid to fight- so don't let her small stature fool you!
Appearance: Emi stands at a short 5'3", with a medium frame but large chest. She dresses in what feels nice, honestly, though she at least attempts to wear proper, matching colors. She also likes how heels feel, and often wears at least one pair a week. Her eyes are her best feature by far, glowing a vibrate purple.

Flaws:
- Emi is blind. She bypasses this with Echolocation she taught herself from a young age, but she still can't see. At all.
- She has a temper, one which can easily be set off if one constantly tries to assist her, or is in general being a jerk. This can get her into fights sometimes.
- She also is quite stubborn, and once she's decided to do something, very rarely can something make her change her mind. She'll often get in trouble this way, especially if she's taken on more than she can chew.
- She's quite awkward with receiving compliments and affection, as she's normally not used to such. Due to this, a hard "No" is sometimes given instead of a "Thank you."
History
Emelie grew up in the heart of London with her family, consisting of her parents and her brother, Liam. However... this childhood certainly came with many surprises, as she was born blind.
Her parents felt sheer terror for her at first, and made sure to shelter the child from danger as best they could. Liam had faith in her, though, and told her she'd find a way. And find a way she did, actually, as she began to learn how to use her hearing, to walk. This took the form of Echolocation, and eventually, she could run without running into things, so long as she clicked her tongue or hummed.
This still didn't help her social life, as either people didn't want to associate with a blind girl, or she herself was too shy to approach anyone. So she chose to read and study instead- which in the long run benefited her greatly, as she excelled in classes and took top ranks.
However, her family life was slowly beginning to fall apart... Her brother had recently come out of the closet, and this was causing massive fights between the three of them. Liam insisted it was fine, but within the next couple years, it got so severe he was kicked out. Her parents only gave her one answer to her many questions, and that was, "Please marry a boy."
Emi said she would, because at the time, she presumed she was straight. After all, that was typical... but she'd never honestly thought of her sexuality before. She did know that women's voices normally pleased her much more than listening to a man's, but she presumed that was just because of familiarity... Though as time passed, she began to have her doubts...
Around this time, though, Liam... ended up in a car accident. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital, and frankly, the family never recovered from that. Her parents became much more withdrawn, and Emi buried herself in her studies far more than before. She decided she wouldn't question anymore. She had to be straight... if only to not end up like her brother.
Despite her emotional turmoils, she was offered a scholarship by Amesti University. She accepted immediately, if only to get away from England for a while and forget things. With her emotions still a bit raw, she's set to enter her first year here.
