Personality & Appearance
Personality: Marzia is generally a nonchalant yet somewhat caring person, that is if you're willing to get to know her enough to see this side of her. She, at first glance appears to be a very approachable person, but the moment she opens her mouth you can clearly tell she's not. Now she isn't this way on purpose- Ever since she was a child she's been traveling the globe with her father. This means she's never in one place for more than a year. Why make friends when you know you won't be in the area long?
Marzia comes off as bored more than not- She's seen it all. The Eiffel tower, the Egyptian pyramids, the Aztec ruins, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, you name it she's seen it. It takes a pretty interesting person or thing to get her attention. One can often find her listening to music no one's heard of or with her eyes glued to some sort of electronic they don't sell in stores.
Now when someone does get her attention, they won't know. Marzia rarely ever shows any real emotion on her face, save for that small and momentary smile when she finds something online that no one has yet. Chances are Marzia will treat the person no different, yet they'll occasionally see her express a touch of caring or a speck of sweetness.
She also never does anything without a purpose so getting her to do something she doesn't feel like doing or doesn't see the point of doing it is like trying to make an cat breathe under water.
Appearance: Marzia is a pretty Italian girl with fair skin and soft hair. Her naturally wavy hair is dark brown at the roots and fades ombre style into blonde. It's cut rather short in the back, but grows longer in the front, shaping her face rather nicely. she rarely wears make up, save base, some eyeliner, and mascara, but these are mainly for days she works. Her eyes are a bright amber gold, shrouded by naturally thick eyelashes and glazed over with a bored expression.
Marzia wears clothes from strange brands and eat foods from even stranger ones. You'll rarely see her wear the same outfit twice, in fact, you might never see an outfit like that one ever again. At home, aka her dorm room, she'll wear her most comfortable and laziest clothes. When she goes out she dresses much nicer. Working in retail means she simply has to look super cute so that's basically what she does.
Marzia has some piercings and tattoos. She has her left tragus pierced along with some small, size 0 gauges. Her tattoos are easily coverable for her job- she has a mandala lotus flower on her left bicep, a large cup lotus under her bra line and an equal sign on her left upper forearm.
Marzia keeps her nails painted with darker, dull colors, usually biting the polish off when she's browsing the web or in class- its really more of a nervous tick, but it's hard to tell. She rarely wears open toed shoes, even during the summer, so she doesn't bother to paint her toenails.

Flaws:
- The internet: Marzia would be lost without some sort of electronic in her hand or websites to surf.
- Shopping: Why else would someone work in retail?
- Tattoos & Piercings: Marzias ultimate form of rebellion against her father and hey- they're pretty fun.
- Food: If you've never heard of it, she's eating it. If it's weird or unusual, she's tried it.
Dislikes:
- Travelling: Never being able to settle has really taken a negative effect on Marzia. It's one thing to travel the world on vacation, its another thing to be constantly uprooted, forced to learn specific customs and language only to have to learn a whole new set of customs and languages later.
- Her Father: Yes he's rich. Yes he's successful. No she's never really had a conversation with him.
- Meeting people: Meeting people has gotten so over done and boring to Marzia that unless you catch her interest, she will not introduce herself first.
- Bugs: Ever wanna see some sort of emotion from Marzia besides boredom? Throw a bug her way.
Flaws:
- Marzia always has the same bored expression. This can lead to a lot of trouble when someone's telling her something personal and she can't help but yawn.
- Marzia is a bit of a sarcastic know it all. She knows over ten languages and she has no problem speaking to you in Arabic so you'll go away.
- Despite being rather smart, Marzia doesn't really apply herself. This means she'll just make straight Cs because she doesn't feel like trying.
- Marzia is fairly antisocial. She'd rather stay home and be on her phone than go out and meet people.
History
Elementary School: By the time she was in the first grade, Marzia had already been to France, Iceland, and Ireland. First grade was completed in Scotland. Since her mother died before she could remember, she was dressed by one maid and taken to school by another. Marzia was much sweeter when she was younger, but trying to make friends when you barely speak English is pretty hard. From there she went to Russia, where simply trying to ask to go to the bathroom was even harder. Second grade was completed with the help of several maids and house attendants who translated her homework word by word out of a pocket translator. Third grade was Ukraine, Fourth grade was Iran, So on so forth. Marzia was made fun of where ever she went- Her clothes and language didn't match that of the new country and the attendants could only do so much to help.
Middle School: These three years were perhaps the years Marzia learned how to pick up on languages quicker. She still tried to make friends and she even tried to take interest in some of her fathers interests. This, of course, didn't work. What middle schooler could understand foreign affairs? It seemed nothing she did could make her father notice her. It was around eight grade in Saudi Arabia when she realized that any sort of relationship with anyone but her attendants was impossible.
High School: Marzia would've home schooled if she could- Pubescent teenage girls could be brutal. She didn't go one day without being reminded how much of an outcast she was- not that she could understand the girls language, but the fact that she was being shoved and pushed was enough of a translation. It was her junior year in Japan did she finally harden up. She stopped paying attention to everyone. She didn't understand them so she didn't care what they had to say. She cut her hair and dyed it in an attempt to start fresh, as if moving countries each year wasn't enough. Senior year she moved to America. this place was very strange to Marzia. She wasn't made fun of nearly as much, in fact, people were fascinated by the amount of languages she would speak and simply adored her accent. This sudden change didn't come quite soon enough for Marzia, but she knew this was a great place and she, for once, wanted to stay.
Present Day: It didn't take much for Marzia to convince her father to let her go to the most popular academy in America- Amesti Girls Academy. All she had to do was attend a university in Italy for two years while she waited for her father to mail back his answer. When she finally did get something it was a simple envelope with a blank check. This was her yes. She signed the check for more than she needed and hopped on the first plane to America, a single suitcase in hand.
