Personality & Appearance
Personality: Angel is a very weird person. Between mid-day naps and kissing strangers he's very friendly and easy-going, but he also likes to screw with people's heads. He tends to pretend he doesn't know english when he first meets someone, and he loves the shocked or annoyed reactions when he admits to knowing english perfectly. He's got that stupid, handsome thing going for him, since he's sort of an optimistic airhead at times, with a side of slightly cocky and silly.
Appearance: Angelico is very tanned and toned, with dark brown hair and eyes that can look anywhere from moonstone blue to a deep sea green. He's usually covered in dirt when he's at school, so he's allowed to wear regular clothing to work, provided he dresses nice when he's in a classroom, workshop or meeting. Otherwise he dresses very casual. Ripped jeans and an old, faded t-shirt are definitely a norm for Angel, since he's been forced into stuffy suits and showy clothes since a very, very young age.

A little bit extra
Likes:
Dislikes:
Flaws:
- Plants of any kind, though he much prefers the pretty, useful herbs.
- Cats, or more specifically, his cats.
- Making people think he doesn't speak english very well.
- Singing, he feels he's only moderately good though.
Dislikes:
- People with no sense of humor.
- Having to wear a suit.
- Shoes. He teaches classes barefoot.
- Sea food, because he's allergic to most of it.
Flaws:
- He's the type to be mischevious. He'll pretend he knows nothing about english because it gets people to say and do things they wouldn't normally, and he loves their reactions when he speaks perfect english after weeks of looking confused at their every word. Luckily for him it's never backfired.
Yet. - He has a horrible habit of pretending everything is fine, mostly stemming from never being allowed to complain as a child. This mostly pretains to his arranged marriage that's sneaking closer and closer. Despite the fact that he's contantly looking for an escape he feels like he has no right to complain, since others have it worse.
- Angel is a very psysical being. True to his heritage he tends to greet with kisses. Left cheek and then the right cheek. He honestly thinks nothing of it, so when he's saying hello with a big grin on his face, he's usually going to pull you in for a kiss to each cheek. Student, co-worker, it doesn't matter.
- Angel tends to be late for any classes after two, as that's usually the time he takes a nap. This is because his doesn't have his last meal of the day until roughly eleven at night. Sometimes he even falls asleep in his office and misses a class altogether. The only reason he hasn't been fired is because his class is an extra and not required.
History
Angelico Seve Carvajal was born on July 24th, 1991 to his mother Vivianna Carvajal and his father Estavan Carvajal in Barcelona, Spain. He was groomed gently to become the leader of the bussiness and taught to treat a lady properly from a very young age. As he grew older the lessons became more specific and his hours spent learning from his private tutors grew longer. Eventually he was made to work every day on school-work and he only got a week off for the family vacation, even if he was sick. He hated every minute of it, but he knew it was neccassary and that he'd regret rebelling against his father, so he just went along with it.
It was decided when he was a young child that he would go to school in America for highschool, to get an idea of the customs of his fiancee and learn the language by experience rather than through text book. All of this was so that her welcome into the family was warm and natural, instead of text-book rehearsed and mechanical. Despite all of his training to break him of his Spaniard habits, he refused to stop kissing people's cheeks in greeting or farewell.
During High School he met someone that changed his purpose in life though. He'd been so focused on being someone he was supposed to be, someone he was expected to be, that he'd forgotten he was actually his own person. He had no idea what he liked to do, what foods he enjoyed most, he didn't even know what he was allergic to. His parents kept his entire life so perfect and planned out that he didn't have to, nothing bad ever happened.
This person was a year older than him, but in the same grade. He'd failed a grade once, but he was so full of life that Angel couldn't help but be drawn to him. He was feirce and unafraid, always standing up for himself and not backing down even when it was clear he'd lost the battle. Angel would forever remember the words, 'The battle is not the war.' It was something the male would say often, and he was right.
Angel didn't realize it, but every time he saw the fire in the other males eyes he'd fall a little more in love. He also didn't realize that the kisses on his 'friends' cheek began to linger, or that his eyes became a little brighter when the other focused on him. He was undeniably smitten, but he had no idea, never having felt anything for anyone except polite acceptance.
However, at the graduation ceremony his obliviousness was shattered when his friend cornered him and kissed him on the lips. He didn't understand really, that it was a confession, or that a kiss on the lips was all that important. He assumed it was a real goodbye. He went home and spoke to one of the maids about it, and she told him in America that that meant they loved him.
Shocked and confused, he sought out his friend the next day, but his friends apartment was completely empty and the landlord had no idea where the young man with a knack for verbal fighting was. Angel cried for the first time in his entire life without it being caused by phsyical pain, and the older woman invited him in for tea. He accepted, and spent the night in her spare room, unable to go home and face the cold company of his family yet.
When he did go home it was to 'great news' about his relocation to somewhere closer to his fiancee. His parents enrolled him in classes to be a teacher in america, though he was allowed to pick what he taught. He just was required to work at the school his fiancee would be attending in a few years so that they would meet in a more relaxed setting before they met as an engaged couple. The hope was that he would meet her and that he would come to like her before they knew who the other was.
He didn't actually think it'd work like that, not for him. He was still hurt over his friend leaving suddenly after such a heavy declaration. He could fake happiness with any woman, but he wasn't straight enough even in his imagination to fall for a girl. It was unfortunate since he would be marrying her, given his responsibilities regarding his family and the business, but not impossible to overcome for the sake of a happy marital life.
For the time being he's going to try and get settled into the Outdoor/Gardening program he'll be teaching and in the Dorms, which he'd really rather not be in. It was no matter though, it was only for a year or two, then he'd hopefully get a house. He just hoped to get through it in one piece, sanity intact.
