Personality & Appearance
Personality: Cecilia is often a person who others respect in the writing community of Amesti. She may not be a best selling author, but a lot of people respect her for her creativity and advice that she often gives out to new or old authors after all, she has been in the game for a couple of years and has a nice understanding on the 'system'. Overall, Cecilia is an open book when it comes to the writing world and has no problem helping her students follow their dreams in the writing community. Oftentimes, she keeps her class up-to-date on upcoming writing contests.
Not only is she admirable, but Cecilia has a love for adventure and her weekends are often exploring the world around her. Of course, having a love for adventure has helped develop her books as she can describe scenes and places she has been to giving her book a realistic aspect. Oftentimes, she likes to be outside in nature and is known to having her students participate in small field trips. (With the school's permission.) Some of her favorite activities would be mountain climbing, hiking and scuba diving.
Of course, with those two traits, Cecilia tends to be ambitious as well. Most tasks that are started will be completed no matter how hard of a struggle she has with said task. She has a strong will to succeed and will not allow anything to hold her back. If she wants to finish a book in a year, then she will finish that book in a year or else rip her hair out for failing. She doesn't like to fail, but will never quit even when told she failed as the task needs to be completed. She often likes to show this side of herself around student as she feels it might give them the courage to complete whatever goals they have in life.
A given trait would be her creativity after all, one who writes needs to be creative. Keeping a small notebook on hand, she writes whatever ideas or dreams she had in the book no matter the time nor place. Some people may find it odd, but she thinks it could lead her to becoming a best selling author one day. Oftentimes, she encourages her students to have a dream journal or something if they are serious about writing. Inspiration can strike at any given moment.
Moving forward because of her ambitious side, it's a known fact that she is a hard worker. Never wanting to abandon a task, she will complete the task whether or not she failed it. To her, finishing a task is a bit more important, then the actual pass or fail.
Finally, one thing many can see as the female makes her way down the street is her sheer elegance. Like a deer, she walks with grace.
Appearance: Soft, long brown hair that falls just beyond Cecilia's shoulder blade, she often keeps the hair pinned up in a bun. Oftentimes, she likes to put fresh flowers into her hair as she likes to way they frame her face. Little to no makeup is used at times, as she feels the all natural look is better, then a face smeared with makeup. Golden, honey eyes shine past her brown hair, she often wishes a compliment from a woman would come by instead of the usual random men... (It's not her fault she attracts the wrong gender!) As for her body, it's one that is like a runner with muscle mass being built up as she is determined to live an active lifestyle of mountain climbing & hiking. As for outfit, she keeps a professional look while teaching so dresses, dress pants & skirts are often worn along with dress shoes & dress shirts. Sometimes the occasional sweater will pop up during winter, but other, then that her outfits aren't too extravagant. Outside the school, she's a bit different. Jeans & short sleeve shirts are her common preference.

- Maladaptive Daydreaming - Daydreaming gone too far. Suffering from quite a newly discovered disorder, Cecilia often finds herself pacing around the classroom or in the dorms for hours on end. It's a bad habit that she has yet to break, but at the same time she doesn't want to break it either. She finds herself coming up with great ideas and feels that she will lose who she is as she feels the disorder is a part of her personality. Without it, she isn't creative or so she likes to think.
- Headstrong - Like the song head strong, Cecilia doesn't like to backdown. If a student challenges her authority, then she has no problem putting them in their place. She doesn't like disrespect in her classroom and has no problem keeping students after school for a couple of hours. It's a wise choice for most students to follow her rules or else suffer the consequences.
- Meddlesome - Cecilia likes to say she is over caring for her students. If a student seems to be a bit problematic or having trouble, then said student might find her trying to become friends with them. Most of the time, she calls them into her classroom, offers a soda to them and gets down to business. She likes to meddle in others business as she feels she can be helpful or have a valuable opinion on the subject.
- Compulsive - If Cecilia is told not to do something, then chances are she is going to do it if she feels it's the right thing to do. Of course, this means she can be difficult, but she truly believes that her heart is in the right place.
History
Cecilia like all children, doesn't recall most of her baby & toddler stage of life, but she had been told by neighbors that she had been raised by a nice elderly women. When Cecilia was born, her mother was used to living a certain lifestyle & had no time for a baby which meant Cecilia was often left in the living room or the spare bedroom by herself. After all, her mother didn't have any contact with her own mother after a fight broke between them and most of her family wasn't close to her. A few days after her mother returned from the hospital, an elderly women had heard the cries of a baby for a couple hours straight during the day. Rushing over, she found the door unlocked and a child lay on the couch with pillows protecting her from falling off while her mother was nowhere in sight. Afraid for the child's safety, she whisked Cecilia away taking her back to her own apartment to grab her keys. Walking to the closest store with a wailing baby, she picked up everything a baby would need in order to grow properly. On the way back, Cecilia's mother was frantic outside her apartment until she saw her baby in the hands of her neighbor. The two talked and the elderly women knew that Cecilia's mother was not mature enough to raise a baby. Taking her in, Cecilia spent most of her life with a complete strange known as Ariel.
Ariel did everything for Cecilia and raised her to be a proper child who respected everyone even her own mother who left her for dead. Ariel even enrolled Cecilia in school, but Cecilia would't never be able to thank Ariel for everything she had done as the elderly women died peacefully in her sleep one night when Cecilia's mother felt like being a mother. Left in her mother's care, Cecilia began to realize what kind of person her mother truly was. At school, Cecilia was an average student, but she had a passion for writing. Even at such a young age, Cecilia liked using words to form pictures in her peers head. She always tried her best to be descriptive as possible and often spent most of her time at home writing, instead of completing her normal homework. Phone calls were made at home, but Cecilia's mother was too busy with the strange men that often came home with her mother. A couple of them would stay for a couple of months, but most never made it passed a week.
Enrolled into primary school, Cecilia was an average student who, was well liked by many of the students. She had no trouble making friends & was the average student who had a passion for writing. She loved when her teacher read the class stories and aimed to make a good enough story where her teacher would read it to the class someday. Of course, when said teacher learnt about Cecilia's goal, she, then took it upon herself to help the girl write a short story about a small, white rabbit named Ariel. (A name she had taken from the elderly women. Which to this day, she still has with her and will often show her students of her first piece of "work".) As she went up in grades, Cecilia's love for writing grew while her love for her mother decreased. All her mother cared about were these strange men. Most of them were loud or rude, oftentimes, she found herself begging to stay over friends houses for the night. (Several parents would comply once they met her mother.) As she neared entering into secondary school, Cecilia often found herself writing about stories about a home life she could only dream of. Teachers often took notice, but oftentimes, they didn't have a good enough case to help Cecilia.
Halfway through her first year in secondary, Cecilia's mother found the "man of her dreams". A simple Canadian plumber named Matthew encouraged her mother to come live with him, but slightly disappointed when he found out she had a daughter. (In all honesty, Cecilia thought her mother would have left her on the streets, but Matthew didn't mind.) Of course, the only reason Matthew didn't mind was because he treated the poor gal like a Maid. Force to clean up the messy house, Cecilia could no longer escape to friend's house without being punished. Her school work was placed in second as she often had to miss due to her parents being too lazy to take her. The whole situation was frustrating, but she was powerless to do a thing until a new neighbor moved in. Several blocks away from the homes came an American lawyer named David. He was charming and quickly found out about Cecilia's home life. (Unlike her, his home life had been quite well. His parents loved their three children & offered them the best in life even going as far as to help them pay for college.)
Determined to help the girl out, David often would fight with Matthew & her mother about raising a child properly. He fought with the two so much that she was practically dumped into David's hands as her the two couldn't take another second. Every day it felt like they were on trial & a lot of clients of Matthew dropped his service. With the battle one, David acted like Ariel. When Cecilia found out she liked girls over boys, he was there to offer support while her mother & Matthew laughed at her. David was the person she could cry to when she couldn't take her life one more second. He was in all honesty, the father she never had. Which was why, David pushed for Cecilia to get good grades as he was determined to send Cecilia to America. (Where he felt she could escape her home life, but also his own mother who had heard of the girl from day one would be able to help her in times of trouble.) Graduating with a grade point of three point six, David paid for Cecilia to go to America where she stayed with David's parents who were more, then happy to have the girl stay in their home.
Enrolled in college, she had a major in writing with a minor in teaching. She was determined to teach at a college level as she had a passion for writing since she was only six years old. Not only that, but she wanted to push students to their dream & wanted them to achieve in their own lives. School took about five years due to her minor, but by twenty three she had graduated. She took a job at a local high school and begin to teach basic English while she worked on a book based on her life. (Everyone in said book was given face names, but nonetheless the story was kept the same.) The book was published when she was twenty-six and made a big impact on the writing community. A lot of people loved her book and while she wasn't a best selling author, she was starting to become known. It was around this time she started to look into Colleges when she stumbled upon Amesti. Sending an application, she accepted the first time which pleased her. Working for Amesti, for almost two years, Cecilia likes to consider herself an inspiration to her students. It didn't matter what home life you had because sometimes a hero can always come & save you.
