Word count: 476 Notes: N/A It was a rare occasion indeed, for Emi to visit the park of all places, but on this fine night she felt like some peace could do her some good. The way the crickets chirped and the cicadas hissed sent tranquil waves down her spine, and for a moment she regretted not bringing her book.
"Mm, this is enough...~" She said to herself in a soft, sing-song tone as she prepared to settle on a nearby bench, clicking to locate it.
"Oh my god, is that the blind kid?" A voice rain in the darkness, holding back laughter. Another one quickly rang out, "Holy shit, it is..! Hey, Anderson! Not so tough without those textbooks with you, huh?"
The young girl went rigid as soon as she heard the voices, spinning around even to face the people who'd come up to her with a glare. She remembered them, vaguely... Carl and Timothy She'd had a class debate with them recently, which she'd won. And from the sound of it, they were still bitter about that.
"I'm plenty tough without those books..! Look, I'm just trying to enjoy the night, so please, leave me alo-" She was cut off with a firm smack to the face, causing her to wince and recoil temporarily with a squeak akin to an injured animal.
The man who'd done it, Carl, muttered, "Shut up, bitch. We can bug you as we please after the shame you brought us. That class has been laughing at us for weeks because of you!" Before Emi could hit back, Timothy had kneed her in the stomach, causing her to slip to the ground with a groan.
Emi shook for a few moments, crying out with each punch and kick wailed upon her body as she hissed, "It was your fault..! If you hadn't been such an asshole about it you'd have been fine...!" She reached to grab a stick, just managing to hit Timothy in the face. The man stumbled back and cursed, as she took the moment of opportunity to get up, and hit him again. "Leave. Me. Alone. You. BASTARD!"
However, as she was making progress, Carl grabbed her from behind and yanked her hair hard, causing her to shriek and drop the stick. She squirmed in futility, as Timothy laughed weakly and began punching her stomach, over and over.
Each blow sent searing pain through her abdomen, but, she also felt something wet.. from the feeling of it, she'd at least made Timothy bleed, perhaps a broken nose? She flailed regardless, trying to kick as she screamed, "Let me go!! I'll have your hides for this, let me go, let me go!!"
Despite her words remaining strong, with each continued blow she was slowly losing steam, and her vision began to grow blurry. Please, god... give me strength..! She thought to herself.

BECAUSE YOU'RE HOT THEN YOU'RE COLD. TAG: Emelie Anderson | NOTES: POOR EMI, I DIED A LITTLE | WORDS: 643 It wasn't Alice's plan to head out this fateful evening, but the breeze that blew across the hills were such a teaser. It brought a nice cool down for the hot summer days when the sun glared down fiercely. Alice smiled just a tiny bit as her curtains constantly moved with the wind. There was just no way she was missing out on a night like this. The blonde put on a casual shirt and some jeans which was extremely rare. Alice slipped through the window, not wanting to wake up the rest of the house and before she knew it, every fiber in her body directed her towards the park.
It was quite unexpected to hear voices in the park this late. For a moment, Alice blushed thinking maybe it was a couple having some 'private' time in a sweet spot. She debated whether she should head in or not. The park was a big place; she could always give them privacy by going to the other side, but where was the fun in that? She could always prank them into thinking there was a ghost or something. Alice snickered to herself as she took light steps into the park heading towards the voices as hidden as she could. The more she got closer, the more suspicious the voices became. It definitely was a struggle, just not the kind she was thinking.
"Oh my god, is that the blind kid?" Blind kid..? The voices were not too old nor young. Maybe it was people from the Amesti University. Ugh, Alice really hated dealing with kids from school. Mainly because she has wronged like only 70% of them. The young female decided to head the opposite direction until she heard some whimpering. She spotted Emi being punched over and over again as she looked back. Rage suddenly seeped into Alice's veins. It was already coward enough to beat up a defenseless person, but a blind one at that? How low were these guys gonna be? Alice picked up the stick that came flying her way as she rushed in to smack Timothy arm with enough force to make him stumble back. The blonde got Carl's attention because he was already heading to land a blow to her head. Alice turned the stick and smashed it against Carl's knee, making him miss his punch. She then poked Carl's cheeks, pushing him away from Emi. Alice stood in front of Emi, making sure the two guys didn't come any closer. "What's wrong, guys? Can't take a girl who'll fight?"
"Using a weapon? That's cowardly, bitch," Timothy retorted. "Isn't that the rich kid? Shouldn't we go before we get in trouble?" Carl whispered to Timothy, but Timothy just smacked him, nudging him to attack anyways instead. While the blonde dropped the stick, making her distracted for a second to dodge Carl's kick to her side. Alice winced a bit before glaring back up at the man. "You did not just get dirt on me. Dude, you are so fucked. Cry for your mom while you can," While the two guys were high-fiving proudly, she whirled up a roundhouse kick to Timothy's head, and then another sidekick to Carl's chin. Then, she held a choke hold against one while she knocked another with a backward crescent moon kick. She let go after he went completely unconscious. Alice then, took out her phone while the Carl was still recovering from the kick. Alice took out her phone, dialing 911 and reporting anonymously. "Good luck, explaining when they get here."
Finally, she turns to Emi, trying to dust her off. "Are you alright...Okay, that was stupid. You're definitely not alright. Where do you live? I'll take you back. Consider yourself lucky, I don't normally do this." Although Alice's egocentric attitude still prevailed, her tone was a lot softer.

Word count: 304 Notes: N/A Oh, the pain... Searing, searing pain. She had nearly lost conscious when she suddenly heard a female voice. What..? No, she didn't need help, she was fine...! She tried to squirm, but ended up falling to the ground as Carl was pushed back with a soft cry. She.. tried to get back up, but for the meantime, she just couldn't, with how her sides throbbed.
She could hear the commotion continue, and honestly just.. felt frustrated, but also relieved, as the men were beat to a pulp- she could hear it, anyway. But she still wished she'd been the one doing it, the one destroying those jerks... Why did this woman even come to her aid? She sounded young... she might even mistake her for sweet if not for her actions just now.
As she was spoken to, finally, and things had fallen silent, she'd finally managed to stand... but the touches caused her to wince, and gingerly, she pushed the girl's hands away. "I-I'm fine..."
She whispered weakly, "D-don't worry about it... I could've handled it, just..." She tried to walk away, but with a whine, she leaned against the nearest pole and scrunched up her face a bit.
Damn it, this was miserable. She couldn't fight off the men, and now she couldn't walk home? More than her body began to ache as she sniffled, and weakly hit the pole. "Darn it..!" She wiped at her eyes for a moment, before whispering quietly, "... Just... just go, I'll be fine.. you're probably late for something, or tired... You should go to bed... I'm not far from here, I'll make it."
Being honest, she couldn't see herself making it at all. She'd probably just wait here, until morning... But she couldn't stand it. She wouldn't stand for being to week and pathetic right now.

BECAUSE YOU'RE HOT THEN YOU'RE COLD. TAG: Emelie Anderson | NOTES: N/A | WORDS: 344 Alice had no problem letting go of Emi, realizing it might have been hurting her. She made a slightly apologetic expression before dusting herself off as well. She's gotta give it to Carl though for having a strong kick. Her side was most likely going to bruise. She couldn't imagine what pain Emi would be feeling.
Instinctively, Alice put her hands out around Emi's wobbling body in case she falls somehow. "Right...sit down for a bit," she gently pushed Emi's shoulders in a downward motion, gesturing her to sit down against the pole. She then walked towards the fountain where she tore her shirt near her belly area and soak the piece of fabric with water. Alice crouched down next to Emi, trying to clean her face a bit until she was pushed away once again to which Alice pouted. Emi was being hard to work with and as much as Alice wanted to yell in her usual loud voice, she figured that would end a badly since well, Emi has been through enough yelling for one day.
Alice held Emi's hand as it hit the pole, attempting to prevent her from doing so again. "Shuddup. I'll decide when I go to sleep, but right now even if you hate it, need some help. Now, seriously, tell me where you live. You said you're not that far? I'll walk you then. If you don't me quick, I swear I'm kidnapping you to my place." She lifted up Emi's arm, carefully putting herself underneath it as a support. "Can you walk fine? Should I carry you instead?" Alice added jokingly even though she knew, this stranger wasn't about to accept the offer. Slowly, but steadily, she started walking with Emi on her shoulders. Even though Emi has not given her answer yet, Alice headed towards her house anyways. She figured it was easier than trying to figure out an unknown place. Alice may not admit it, but she knew too well how bad her sense of direction was."Name's Alice by the way, you?"

Word count: 323 Notes: Bitches gonna say be suspicious. Emi gasped softly at the gentle push, tensed up in surprise more than anything- it even made her flush slightly, just at how... awkward it was. However, in her current state, she went down easily, her eyes shut tight as she nodded and sat down. "... O-okay..." She whispered, "I would've been fine, though, I swear..." She dipped her head in shame, obviously not too willing to let the lady help her.... Maybe it made her upset, but right now, she didn't care. She just wanted to be home.
Yet, despite her resistance, this lady was not only continuing to assist her, but also keeping her from venting her frustration. She huffed as she listened, murmuring weakly, "I-It's late, though, you should sleep... Eek!"
Before she could protest, she'd been lifted, causing her to jolt and nearly think she was about to be thrown- the fear plastered all over her face showed this well- but the words made her pause, and instead give the softest of pouts. Help... Maybe she did need help, but... "I don't get it... why are you helping me? Is is just because I'm blind?" She almost suspected it to be such. Maybe she wanted a good rep...
Regardless, she finally caved, leaning against the girl and closing her eyes- though she kept walking, albeit with a very slight limp. Alice, huh...? "... Emelie Anderson, is my name... Thank you..."
However, she couldn't really recall her room number, not right now. She'd gotten so used to the bubble pattern she'd put on the door, she'd stopped paying attention to the number. Her nose wrinkled in annoyance at this, frustrated in her short-comings while injured. She finally mumbled, "... Can walk, just... leave me at the dorms, I can make it from there... then I'll be in class by tomorrow..." She sighed softly, as she murmured, "... Even if you're just doing this for a good reputation, thank you... I'll pay you back, later..."

BECAUSE YOU'RE HOT THEN YOU'RE COLD. TAG: Emelie Anderson | NOTES: N/A | WORDS: 452 Alice was glad Emi was letting her clean up with the cloth. She had suspected more resistance from Emi judging from her body language, but then Emi probably had no strength to argue with her. Alice chuckled lightheartedly as Emi squeaked. It was kind of cute, like a puppy-cute and Alice was a goner for puppies. She shifted a bit, in hope to make Emi a bit more comfortable and to make it less awkward which she guessed Emi's flushed face meant. The blonde raised her eyebrows. She was not entirely sure why she wanted to help Emi. "Is it just because I'm blind?" Emi's question got her thinking, but she didn't really paid much attention to that before she intervened. Heck, she was ready to walk the other direction if it wasn't for the beating. If she had to answer honestly it was because..."you reminded me of my dog? He used to get beat up by people or other big dogs for protecting me. He was a tough one, that rascal. And just like you, he really didn't want my help which makes me want to do just the opposite." Alice chuckled a bit sounding both sad and happy at the nostalgic memories of her belated dog.
"Emil--Emilie...that's too long for me. Screw it, I'm calling you Emi from now on." Alice paused a bit as she smiled a bit timidly. "No need to thank me...I was just doing a natural thing."
Alice wrinkled her nose and made a face at the next statement. "You can barely talk, much less walk. W-whatever, I'm k-kidnapping you no matter what you say. My place's a block away anyways," she replied flustered. She really didn't want to admit she had no idea how to get to the dorm, much less get to school from this park. The only reason she even knew how to get to the park was because it is a block away from her place. Alice has never been very smart at using her natural sense of direction or remembering streets and places. "Plus, you don't want the dorm supervisor seeing you in this state, do you? Don't you go to Amesti University? Those two jerky heads seemed to recognize me. We could just head to the school together in the morning. I have morning classes, too." Alice laughed ironically at Emi's next statement, "good reputation? You sound a lot like my father, always going on about reputation. Why would I want good reputation when I'm doing everything I can to ruin mine, so I can ruin him." The blonde female grinned followed a creepy noise. "You better pay me up with all the sweets in the world."

Word count: 456 Notes: Bitches gonna be shy over stuff. Emi felt the blood rush to her face as she was attended to, closing her eyes with a small sigh, and occasionally wincing at the touches. She'd definitely bruise up like there's no tomorrow by morning, but she could deal- she was tough.
However, this didn't stop the blood from rushing to her face as she heard a noise- one very similar to laughter- and felt a sense of shame, and frustration. "H-honestly..." She whispered in exasperation, but otherwise remained quiet.
She paused as she listened, making a face. "So I'm a dog...? I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be happy or upset about that..." She sighed soon after, murmuring, "But I guess it's okay.. Don't help me after this, I don't need it... I'm quite fine on my own, thank you... But I'm sure he was a great dog..." After all, Alice seemed lovely, so her dog was mot likely the same...
She then giggled as she listened to the blonde struggle, though the name made her flush a bit. "That's okay.. That's what they call me back home... I suppose it's not 'Fido,' so I can let it slide..." She smiled slightly, nodding and letting it be. Even if she said it was fine, it was still kind of her. Frustrating or not to be helped, even Emi had to admit that.
She noticed how Alice's voice almost seemed to waver, and half wondered if she was embarrassed- but for now she'd leave it be... Until she heard the words. "W-what? But... I... you can't! It's a stranger's house, and I've never been in it, and you don't know me, and..." She babbled quietly, energy gained just slightly in her panic. If she did go there, she'd have to re-explore everything, and she'd... in a worst case scenario have to ask where things were. No way in hell was she doing that.
The more she listened, though... Alice was right. The dorm supervisor would probably not allow her to go to class tomorrow, and she didn't want that, not at all. ".. Only for tonight," She murmured quietly, letting the girl win for today, "B-but I prefer to walk alone in the morning..."
However, what Alice said next confused her terribly. She.. wondered why Alice wanted to ruin her dad, really. But she wouldn't pry- it wasn't her place to, so she gave a soft hum. "Sweets... I think I heard about a bakery around here somewhere... I'll drop in and get you some, if you want...? How about cookies?" She seemed genuinely curious about what Alice liked, and... more surprisingly not too phased by the noise, save for a soft giggle. "You can just ask, you know... Anything. I'd get it for you."

BECAUSE YOU'RE HOT THEN YOU'RE COLD. TAG: Emelie Anderson | NOTES: YOUR 'BITCHES GONNA BE'S ARE CRACKING ME UP | WORDS: 842 Alice put a hand over her mouth feeling almost apologetic. It's just the way Emi was blushing from being helped was just too cute to not giggle. She whispered a tiny 'oops, sorry' that was almost inaudible.
Alice had a confused expression on her face at Emi's next statement. She couldn't understand how being compared to a dog could be upsetting. She had always seen it as a compliment especially when it comes to her dog. "It's a compliment?" The blonde pouted a bit before responding, a hint of her egocentric behavior slowly emerging, "fine~ I only helped because I hated those jerkies anyways. It's not like I wanted to help you in particular or anything. I mean, you should just be grateful the great Alice is tending you. It doesn't happen everyday..." Soon, Alice's jabber seemed more like a mumble of rant that made less sense with every word. "Of course he was a great dog, he was my dog. Oh why am I even explaining this to you. It's a pity you don't even know who the great Alice is. It's not even worth explaining it to a commoner...no, no it's -mumble mumble- she continued mumbling to herself in the end with a language that only Alice understood. It was a constant confusion bundle until she was done cleaning up Emi's face and arms. The blonde snickered, "don't make me tempted to call you 'Fido', Emi. If you don't like it, I might just do it."
Alice hummed away as she still headed towards her house despite Emi's useless complaints. "We're not strangers. The minute you've exchanged names, you become acquaintances. Plus it's not like I'm kidnapping you to some underground S&M place." She counter argued with Emi until she had calmed down a bit. She guess no one wanted to follow a stranger home. If Alice was in Emi's shoes, she'd probably be flailing despite being injured, but right now, having company at the villa didn't sound like a bad idea. She'd been there alone for too long...well except the headmaid, but then it was not the same thing as having company; a guest or her family. "Okay, if you prefer that, but let's walk together since we're going the same way anyways. Plus, that'd mean you'd be helping me instead of the other way around since I don't know how to get to school without the car yet~"
Alice grinned from ear to ear, making squeaky happy noises, but cleared her throat soon after, trying to hide her excitement. "Of course you will get some. It's just proper to pay someone back, not because I love cookies or anything." Surprisingly, Alice was quiet on the rest of the way back to her house. There was no other way to sneak in with an injured person, so she risked ringing the gate to wake up the house staff. She spoke into the intercom softly, "open both doors. It's me." From the intercom, an elderly voice replied worriedly. "Is that you, Alice?! Oh dear god, where have you been?! Your father will have my head for this!" With that the gate slid open, followed suit by the grand wooden front door. The garden was like the school courtyard's little sister. Even though it was not as big as the courtyard, the beauty that has been taken care of daily could definitely rival.
The blonde carried Emi inside, setting her down on one of the couches. "We're here, Emi, but let me deal with something first." She walked over to the headmaid, who was holding a strict expression this whole time.
"Young lady, have you lost your mind?! Sneaking off like that in the middle of the night? Have you forgotten what your father had said? Who is that anyways?! Are you hanging out with thugs now? Get her out of the villa before anyone sees her. You know how your father feels about these things?!"
"Woah there, slow down. Maybe if he hadn't locked me up in that hell hole for a year, I wouldn't have learned to sneak out. Why are you so worried? He's not even going to visit here unless I decide to mess up his stocks somewhere in New York, France, or China or something. She has a name, and that's Emi, so I suggest you properly address her. And if you kick her out, you'll have to kick me out, too, but then you wouldn't, would you? Because precious father needs her princess in her villa at all times and you're too scared shitless of him. Now, go prepare a guest room, please." The head maid nudged at the other staff with much reluctance, but she didn't counter argue with Alice.
Alice headed back towards Emi. "Sorry about that, but you can take my room, Emi. I'll take the guest room. It's a big place, so it'll be easier for you to have a room where you can access the bathroom and water without much moving or getting lost. I'll take you there."
(OOC: I'm so sorry for long post and some parts may not make a lot of sense. I did read it over 10 times, but it's like 5am, sorry xDD. But yeah, kill the post Sao!)

[attr="class","top"]you win the battle now but I will return the fire
[attr="class","one"] [attr="class","tbody"] Words: 690 muse: Tons of vocaloid music. THE WORLD WILL ALWAYS BE BITCHESSSSSSSSSSSS | Despite her inner frustrations, she just couldn't stay mad at the girl. Maybe it was they way she laughed, and genuinely seemed happy. Hmph... She needed more of a hard side. With a small pout of her own, she let it go and let her head loll to the side a bit, yawning once more as the exhaustion in her body spread, and slowly consumed her- she'd definitely not be staying up late tonight.
However, the next words from this strange, long haired lady made her do a mental double take. How was being called a dog ever a compliment?! She got he probably meant a lot to her, but still... "Mm..." She hummed lowly, before giving a sigh of exasperation. "Alright, thank you..." She pouted slightly herself, mumbling, "It's not that I'm not grateful... everyone tries to help me, because they don't think I can do anything, and... It just annoys me, that they think I'm that pathetic..."
She offered a small, reassuring smile as she closed her eyes to the cloth, "But.. having someone like you help me today, wasn't that bad. So thank you, oh 'Great' Alice... I'm sure your dog would be really, really happy to find you helping people." She laughed softly, but her words were sincere- and if one looked, the slightest bit of warmth filled her gaze.
She only rolled her eyes with a groan as the time passed, "If you call my Fido I'm going to crawl home," She didn't mean it, but she was considering going home... At least she knew how to get home, from here. She clicked in a steady, but nervous way as they moved, taking in every surrounding around them to make sure she'd know how to get back..
Alice did have a point, at least- they'd at least bonded a little... but thinking about that just made her crave a book. However... she soon went bright red, as she gaped. "I-I-I... I was thinking NO such thing!!" She said in a squeaky-cry, wide awake now. "G-goodness, Alice... that was so dirtyyyy..!" She ended in a whine, but let it go as she went with the girl. Despite her rant, she'd definitely calmed slightly, if her relaxing frame was anything to go by.
... But that was when she heard the girl make those... noises. She blinked in shock for a moment before bursting into giggles. "I-I'll get you any cookies you want, just tell me what kind and I'll drop them off at your place..." She could offer Alice join her, but there was no way she could. That'd... just be awkward, for her.
This didn't prepare her for the sound of the opening gates, or the voices that followed, though. Honestly, it sounded like no one wanted her there, and she was about to offer to leave... before Alice spoke. She blinked once, almost awed she'd put herself on the line like that, for her. She didn't feel worthy, honestly, of that much care. "I-it will only be for tonight, I promise I'll be gone by morning...! S-sorry!" She would have bowed, if not for the pain it'd cause if she did.
She waved the apology off with a nervous laugh after, to show this appreciation. "N-no, it's fine, I should he sorry... I almost got you in trouble, and... sorry..." She ducked her head, before whispering, "But thank you....Truly, thank you." It was almost inaudible, with how quietly she'd said it. But she didn't have the confidence to be louder about it, not while in this new place.
However, she soon heard something she'd.. not wanted to hear. Alice was afraid she'd get lost? Oh, grief... "No," she whispered, as she took Alice's hand. ".. Just give me the guest room. You've done enough for me, and I can figure it out. So please, don't give me your room." Granted, this house seemed large- very much so, like a mansion- she had faith in herself to figure it out... Really, she just wanted some bit of pride left, after tonight. Her eyes shone with determination, as she tried to look at Alice, in a sense.
(OOC: I killed it.. a little? xD But you're fine, it made perfect sense. c: Good job!)

BECAUSE YOU'RE HOT THEN YOU'RE COLD. TAG: Emelie Anderson | NOTES: KILLING POST | WORDS: 472 'Maybe not everyone wanted to be compared to a dog?' Alice pondered as he studied Emi's slightly twisted expression. She listened to Emi's words closely, but the blonde didn't agree to them. Emi was probably strong enough to do whatever Alice did, she knew that. However, she looked at Emi with a smile that spoke of melancholy instead of pity, "Have you ever wondered...that maybe everyone tries to help you not because they pity you, but because they are reminded of how pathetic they are when they see you so strong? The only reason I helped tonight was because you were in a fight you couldn't win and I don't see a problem there. I have fights i can't win either. If that's a flaw, then we are all the same pathetic little bug ready to be mushed onto the concrete." Immediately after her speech, she shrugged off with an unexplained nervous laughter, "I said some weird things, just ignore it."
By no means did Alice expected such an outburst reaction to her S&M comment from Emi. The blonde started holding her stomach before laughing out loudly into the night. "Who's the one with the dirty mind? What sort of details were you thinking through, Emi?"

Alice sighed, "why are you apologizing? If anything I should be apologizing for not being more welcoming." She looked down to her feet while mumbling, "plus, it gets a bit lonely in this house without anyone." Although it went pretty unnoticed, Alice's fidgeting fingers and the slight shakiness in her voice suggested her nervousness of having a 'friend' over at the house. It took everything she had to pretend as if showing a friend wasn't so new and fascinating.
She halted in her steps, looking frightened that she may have voiced something out wrong. Oh only if she was better at speaking her mind, how easier this would be. "I..." started to say something, but shook her head instead. Alice opened a door for Emi, suggesting that they have arrived at the guest room. The walls were grey and the furniture were plain wood. All the sheets of the bed had a beige dull finish. Everything about the room was just too empty and bland for Alice. It reminded her of the room she was imprisoned in not too long ago. She whimpered unconsciously from the back of her throat before swallowing hard. Alice was in the middle of explaining where things were when she decided to interrupt herself, "Aaah, no, this won't do. You, come with me." She grabbed Emi as gently as she should while dragging her down the hall until they reached Alice's room. "We're gonna share the room," she repeats once again, this time much more pleading and genuine, "Let's share my room, please?" For once, she wanted to avoid nightmares.
